Safety Event @ Thursday Happy Hour
This week come out to our Thursday Happy Hour for an extra-special treat!
Vivian Greyhound - guest extraordinaire and fabulous creature herself - will grace us with her wit, wisdom, and ability to handle all sizes and types of lines. Whether you're a landlubber novice who can't tell a line from a rope, or a long-term cruiser who knows not to hold a line, we promise Ms. Greyhound will have a thing or two to teach everyone.
Following our safety event demonstration, we will celebration Commodore Bob Rose's 60th birthday.
POWYC will provide lines and cleats to practice on. Vivian Greyhound will bring the fabulosity. Members are welcome to bring food and drinks to share.
As part of our weekly Thursday Happy Hour series, this event is open to all including POWYC members, GPSA residents, and transients and slip-holders at The Wharf Marina. Held on the Events Barge, on Z Dock, at The Wharf Marina, dependent on weather. Community members can enter the marina through The Wharf Marina office gate.
