Help select the best of this year's decorated boats!
The nights come early this time of year, but that just makes it all the better for seeing the lighted boats!
POWYC is encouraging everyone* with a boat at The Wharf Marina to celebrate the season and deck the handrails. To help create a bit of competition, POWYC is putting up prizes for the best of X dock, Y dock, Z dock, and overall "Most Creative", and members and residents will help decide who wins!
Come to the marina office Friday at 6pm to get your ballot and we will spend an hour walking the docks, taking in the displays, and enjoying the lights, before coming back to the office to tally the votes and award the prizes. BOYB and snacks. Bring drinks that you can walk along the docks with.
*If your boat won any prize at DC's Parade of Lights, you are not eligible to win POWYC prizes for this contest. But we still encourage you to turn on your displays and lights, and bring some joy to the docks.
