Memorial for Dr. Joseph Carpenter of “Joe and Susan”
Dr. Joseph Andrew Carpenter and Susan Carpenter have been devoted members of the Marina for over 25 years. They have lived aboard the Timothy B since 1998. The happiest years of their lives have been their time at the Marina, in the ever loving embrace of the community. They absolutely adored every day, week, month and year spent at the Marina that they have come to call home.
Unfortunately, Dr. Joe passed away on July 10th, 2024. Susan is now in California living with her daughter, Keri Carpenter, and family.
Date and Location
A Celebration of Life and 8 Bells Ceremony will begin at Sunday, September 8th, 2024 at 9:30 am in lieu of the standard weekly Captains’ Coffee.

The ceremony will be conducted on the Events Barge. In the event of bad weather we will move to the indoor Boaters Lounge inside the marina office building.
